Welcome back to another term at beautiful Wyong Public School. We are pleased to see all of our students back with smiles on their faces, lots of energy and ready to learn. Whilst it wasn’t the greatest holiday break weather-wise, we hope you and your children had a restful and enjoyable time and took the opportunity to do some enjoyable things together. Things have been very busy at the school throughout the holidays, despite teachers not being on-site, as we have had lots of construction underway to provide a more welcoming and functional environment for our students, staff and community. Upgrades to roofing, student toilets and the SaCC building have meant that, whilst this work is not quite yet complete, we will have our school looking even more schmick than it already is, before we know it.
On another note and, as I’m sure you’re aware, it is a focus of ours to provide our students with a wide range of experiences for them to explore their talents through a variety of activities, in order to further develop a holistic approach to education, and this will certainly be on display during Term 3. We look forward to seeing the fantastic progress made by each of our classes at the end of the term and also can’t wait to see our students in action while they participate in many great initiatives in music, dance, drama, sport and Scope IT. Thank you to all of our staff, who work hard each and every day to provide a welcoming, stimulating environment for our students and thank you to you, all of our families, for your ongoing support and understanding in tricky times.
