Principal Message: Farewell Mr Miladinovic

School Logo

Dear parents and families,

This week will be my last week as Principal of Wyong Public School. My family and I have decided to move closer to family in Sydney and I have been successful in gaining a Principal role at Lurnea Public School, where I begin next Monday.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to the staff, students, and community for their support during my time at Wyong Public School since beginning here in 2014.

It has been an incredible privilege to lead the Wyong staff, students, and community as Principal of Wyong PS, and I am genuinely grateful for the unwavering dedication of our exceptional staff. Their commitment to nurture and educate our students has been truly inspiring, and I have been continually impressed by their passion, resilience, and professionalism. This includes the teaching and non-teaching staff (administration, SLSO -teachers’ aides, support, and cleaning staff) as well as School Community, Hearing and Counselling staff who work at Wyong over the week to ensure the students and broader families are supported and have access to various educational programs.

The connections I have formed with our wonderful community have been a highlight of my time here. Your support and collaboration have been invaluable, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such dedicated parents, caregivers, and community members. We have seen many changes and improvements to the school (running track has commenced) and appreciate the ongoing support of the Parents and Citizens committee who have always supported me in the role, to ensure we focus on the needs and activities of the children to provide them with varied opportunities in a quality teaching environment. Students at Wyong have access to a range of educational activities and programs, and I have been proud to lead and support staff with these.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that Mr Jason Baldwin (Director of Schools, Central Coast) has begun the process of a merit selection process for the substantive Principal role.

Ms Bennett and Mrs Arnot will both share the Acting Principal role over the course of the term, with Ms Bennett to Act from weeks 2-5, and Mrs Arnot from weeks 6-10 respectively.

Kind regards,

Mr Todd Miladinovic
